Goggle Me

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you. Jeremiah 1:5a

These days you can find a lot out about a person before you meet them. I know that most people will google names of interview candidates or first dates before they meet just to see what they are getting into.

Its a great idea actually. You only have a few moments in your first meeting, that it helps to have that extra bit of info.

Isn’t it great to have a God that doesn’t have to do this? One who knows us so intimately and yet still loves us and rejoices in all that we do.

I like the thought that I am more to God than just the body that formed in my mothers womb and that I have the possibility to be with God for eternity.

Until Everyone Hears,

Don't you think that we often try to hide from God? That we fail to be forthright and candid with God because—after all—we don't want to make him angry or hurt his feelings or disappoint him? Maybe that's an exaggeration, but you get my point. God knows everything about us! It's not like God loved me last Tuesday, but that was before he saw what I did on Wednesday! No, from all eternity God knows us completely. And God created us anyway! That's good news to me.

What are your thoughts?
