A Fantastic September.

Nothing was on fire.

If you've had any role in building and defending the gospel you know what I mean. Sometimes things just catch on fire in a bad way; and you spend most of your time trying to put it out and clean it up.

But then you have those months when nothing catches fire.
You hold your breath.
You slowly exhale.
And you realize that you can breathe deeply and enjoy sitting in God's presence.

What made this month different?
Who knows?

Perhaps it was that I got two, yes TWO Sundays off! And I took full advantage of them! I truly feel rested. It's an amazing thing. I think I've been tired ever since the shut down in Georgia opened back up.

But not today.

Something might catch on fire tomorrow.
I fully expect it. But for now, I'll just enjoy this last day of September and enjoy my restfulness.

Matthew 11:28 - “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
