The Warm Blanket Theory

Prayer, faith, holy mischief

Telling me I need to rest doesn’t get me to rest. It makes me focus on what I can’t do. FOMO sets in.

But telling me to get a warm blanket and sit or lay down with a good book and/or a hot beverage reminds me of what I’m missing out on if I don’t rest.

God rested. He commands us to rest. Get your warm blanket and rest. You might discover more of what you’re really missing out on in the process.

Until Everyone Hears,
