What do you look like?
A few weeks ago I was doing a group work out. In one of the stations we had to do some sprint suicides for 30 seconds. After my second rotation the instructor came up to me and said, “You’re a runner.” More of a statement than a question. My response was, “I like to run. Why did you say that?” He said, “You have the stride of a runner.”
I’ve run 5Ks, 10Ks, and one half marathon. A few times I’ve placed in my age group in smaller races. But I’ve rarely said that I was a runner. I always say that I like to run to stay in shape.
Here’s the truth: I’ve been running long enough that I’m a runner. I don’t know when it happened but I know its happened. I might not be the best one but I am one.
Here’s another truth: I’ve been a believer long enough that I’m a Christian. I don’t know when it happened but I know its happened. I might not be the best one but I am one.
I hope people can see my faith in my stride as well.
Until Everyone Hears,
