Getting back to the gym
I have a friend who recently pulled a muscle in his back while working out. Such is the price of exercise and getting older (he’s in his 20s). He’ll rest and get back to the gym soon enough. He’s wired to keep his healthy practices. Health is a core value for him. It would be easy to just stop and never go back, especially if the pain was bad enough. But not going back would cost something and in the end, you’d be worse off. Rest and get back to it.
Good advice…and not just for the gym.
