Hallways
The importance of hallways
No one buys a house because the hallways are spectacular. The hallways are simply the means to get to the rooms that matter most: bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, or living room. Those are the main ones (although a really good laundry room is most helpful as well). No one ever posts pictures of their hallway. We usually pose in the living room or outside the home. Yet every Christmas we sing about “decking the halls.” We put family pictures up in the hallway. We try to make them more meaningful and beautiful because they are an important part of the house. The hallways give direction and allow us to have some privacy and sanctuary even within our own home.
Don’t discount the hallways. They are important to the journey.
