Presence

Being present is more of a gift than you know. When you are present with someone physically, you start to resonate with that person. Your body chemistry responds to their voice, smell, and appearance. When you are mentally present with someone, telling stories and sharing moments, your brain waves start to synchronize.
God is present with us. Emmanuel means “God with us.” God changes who we are when we accept that He is there and we are in turn present with Him.
“Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob,”
Psalms 114:7 NRSV
