The root of the word kindness means “noble deeds” or “nation” or “to produce an increase.” It seems like kindness cannot be done in a bubble. Thinking kind thoughts, while positive, is not the same as being kind. Our kindness connects us and increases our faith by our witness to the Holy Spirit.
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,”
Galatians 5:22 NIV
