Start with “who”

faith and prayer

Do we start with "who" or "why"?

Simon Sinek’s “Start with Why” walked  through a new way of design thinking. Sinek starts with a fundamental question: Why are some people and organizations more innovative, more influential, and more profitable than others?

His thesis answers the question using the hierarchy in "the Golden Circle" and shows how this process is wired into the human brain. He uses the framework in his own company by posting his "why" for everyone to see:

"Our WHY:

To inspire people to do the things that inspire them so that, together, each of us can change our world for the better." (from simonsinek.com)

As Christians we may know our why...we may not...but our why should always lead to and from the “who”.
God is calling us to be more innovative and more influential so that we can reach the world with love. So that everyone knows they are loved and loved abundantly.
Why? Because while we were still sinners, God loved us first. We need to return the favor. Not just to God but to the billions of others that he loves as well.
Our "who" and our "why" are inseparable.  Just as God's who (us) and God's why (love) are eternally connected as well.
So find your who and your why today...and then have some fun with the "how." I'm certain that will get you into #HolyMischief.

Until Everyone Hears,

Dr. K

"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

P.S. - If you've been following these challenges, you'll get a kick out of this: the bloopers. Sometimes you just gotta show the real and raw stuff!

Just watched Andy Stanley at Buckhead Church in Atlanta. His last two Sundays are on healing broken relationships. I think you might find them interesting and very challenging (at least they are for me)
