Abundance

Faith, prayer, abundance

Abundance isn’t always a good thing.

You can have an abundance of termites that can destroy your home. You can have an abundance of caution that might offer safety but might keep you from an opportunity. You can have an abundance of chocolate that is great if you space out your consumption but horrible if you eat it all at once. You can have an abundance of money that divides your family or is squandered by bad habits.

Or you can have an abundance of life. That doesn’t mean you’ll live longer. It isn’t talking about time or eternal life. This is abundant life. A life worth living. A life where love overflows. A life walking with God and knowing He’s always with you.

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.”

‭‭John‬ ‭10:10‬ ‭NRSV‬‬
